Wine Tasting - Meet the Grape: Sauvignon Blanc

Many associate Sauvignon Blanc with New Zealand: tropical fruit, fresh herbs, lime, and its characteristic acidity. But the grape holds far more than that. For this tasting, we travel from New Zealand to Hungary, from Loire to Bordeaux, sampling four wines made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc - to see how differently the same grape can express itself depending on where it's grown and how it's vinified.

From fresh and aromatic to mineral and smoky, and all the way to beautifully sweet. We taste the wines side by side and discuss the grape, the places where it grows, and the flavors we find in the glass.
