Mid-Autumn Festival 2026 · Union, Copenhagen
Description was written before the event

The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of China's most beloved traditional celebrations. When the full moon rises, families and friends gather around mooncakes and thoughts of loved ones - near or far. The three Chinese characters for moon (月), music (乐), and joy (悦) are all pronounced the same: yuè. Under the autumn moon, music and joy flow.

The stage is open to everyone: you can perform with your own music, poetry, stories, creative acts, or karaoke. If you wish to perform, please contact the organizing group in advance at baihe@tuta.com so the programme can be planned. You are of course also welcome as an audience member.

Tickets are paid at the door and include Chinese snacks, a Chinese Zen tea ceremony, and mooncakes. Prices: 75 DKK for members, 100 DKK for non-members.

The evening's host is Quinn Liu - a Chinese musician and lead singer of the dancepunk duo Green Tea Bitches, who have performed at SPOT and Uhørt Festival, among others. The event is created together with the Danish-Chinese Integration Forum, the Guangxi Association in Denmark, and the Chinese Tea Culture Association.
