Feminist Wednesday - A Community About Society, Power and Myths

Viborg Libraries invites you to Feminist Wednesday - a discussion group for everyone interested in exploring feminism and the narratives about gender and power that shape everyday life. On the last Wednesday of August, September and October, participants gather for an hour of conversation on a new theme.

The programme:

• 26 August: Future relationships - what happens to love, roles and expectations when new ideals meet old patterns?
• 30 September: Research and women's health - why has women's health historically been deprioritized, and what does it mean for us today?
• 28 October: The manosphere - which communities and narratives about masculinity and gender dominate digital spaces?

Each evening features selected material as a starting point for discussion - books, articles, excerpts, podcasts or short clips. You don't need to prepare in advance; all you need to bring is your curiosity.
