Lecture with Rasmus Kragh: The Adventure Within Us All

What drives a person into extreme environments - and what do you actually find there? This is the central question as Rasmus Kragh gives a lecture at Hovedbiblioteket in Viborg.

Kragh draws on concrete experience: in 2019 he reached the summit of Mount Everest without oxygen bottles as the first and only Dane ever, he has crossed large parts of Antarctica alone on skis during a solo expedition to the South Pole, and he appears in the 10th season of DR's 'Alone in the Wild' - the anniversary edition, where the record for longest time alone in the wild is broken. In his daily work he focuses on coaching, mental training and personal development.

The lecture is not only about external achievements. Kragh explores what the longing for direction, presence and connection to others and to nature actually reveals about ourselves - and whether the answer might be found within rather than out there.
