Released for Leadership is a lecture by Cecilie Gredal that challenges some of the ideals shaping our image of the capable leader: having all the answers, handling pressure, maintaining control, and delivering more. Qualities that have taken many far - but which, according to Cecilie Gredal, can also block the path to the next level of leadership.

The lecture introduces the concept of "ideal traps" and explores how leaders can create better access to the judgment, creativity, intuition, and human connection they already possess - rather than adding more knowledge and pace. Central questions include: What drives me? What am I holding onto because it once worked? And what becomes possible if I let go of some of what I believe a capable leader should be?

Participants leave with a fresh perspective on why more doesn't necessarily create better leadership, a sharper eye for the ideal traps that steal time and attention, and insights into how clarity, trust, and connection can unlock more of the human potential in the organization.

The event is held at Cecilie's home, so there is room for only 30 people. Doors open at 16:30, and there is coffee, tea, and cake in the living room. Note: The book Released is expected to be published in early 2027 - until then the podcast Released can serve as an introduction.
