Book Club "Coffee with Malanchuk": "The Stuff of Childhood" with Ostap Ukrainets

Ukrainian author, translator, researcher and soldier Ostap Ukrainets joins the book club "Coffee with Malanchuk" to discuss his book "The Stuff of Childhood".

Through the stories of five children from different regions of Ukraine in the late 19th century, the book opens a window into childhood, everyday life and the historical realities of that era. The conversation will explore the book itself, the world it reconstructs, and how our understanding of childhood has changed from then to now.

The event takes place in Ukrainian and English.
