Grasshopper Salsa (ages 4-8)

Little grasshopper Grethe loves to hop and has no patience for sitting still and listening to adults. One day she takes a giant leap and gets lost in the big wide world - fun, scary, and lonely all at once. Fortunately, her friends, the slow snails, are willing to help - if they can keep up.

This is a musical performance for children aged 4 to 8 about grasshoppers, community, and loneliness, and about finding your way home. The audience sings along throughout the story, and after the performance, children can try out the different instruments and sounds from the show.

Venue: The Room on the 1st Floor

The performance is part of the Teatermagi festival during the autumn break (week 42), which brings performing arts to cultural centres, libraries, and theatres around Copenhagen - this year in Østerbro, Vesterbro, Amager, Nørrebro, Vanløse, Valby, Indre By, Brønshøj-Husum, Sydhavnen, and Bispebjerg. The festival is supported by the Augustinus Foundation and Copenhagen's Performing Arts Committee.
