Meet a Real Mermaid (From 4 Years)

Meet a Real Mermaid - interactive show: Wednesday 14 October 2026, 10:00–10:40, Sydhavnens Bibliotek, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

The mermaid Havdis has come ashore and wants to show everyone her treasures - but mermaids are terribly forgetful. The audience helps her with tasks and solutions, and at the end Havdis and the people ask the Ocean's All-Knowing Mother for help. She will only appear when her lost comb is found.

The performance ends with a shared activity for children and adults: mermaid-tail walking on land. Duration: 40 minutes. From 4 years old.

The performance is part of the Teatermagi festival during the autumn break (week 42), which brings stage art to cultural centres, libraries and theatres in Østerbro, Vesterbro, Amager, Nørrebro, Vanløse, Valby, Indre By, Brønshøj-Husum, Sydhavnen and Bispebjerg. The festival is supported by the Augustinus Foundation and Copenhagen's Stage Art Committee.

Location: The Room on the 1st floor.
