VASt a: Mi casa, tu casa

Mi casa, tu casa (Sharing practice) takes place on Sunday, 20 September at 14:00-15:30 in Lucía Maglio's home in Ballerup. Age limit: 13 years.

This sharing practice is a participant-oriented session where guests are invited to explore a selection of tasks and findings from Lucía's dance research. Drawing on eco-somatic practices, the session investigates how different relational dynamics can emerge through bodily encounters with others, the surroundings, and the space we inhabit.

By using the home as a framework for artistic research, the practice proposes "mi casa, tu casa" as a gesture: moving the centre to the periphery and inviting another into a space normally perceived as private and intimate.

The sharing practice is part of Lucía Maglio's graduation project "VASt a" from the MFA in Dance and Participation. The following day, Monday 21 September at 12:30-13:30, she also holds a lecture performance at DDSKS in Copenhagen. Read more at ddsks.dk.
