MeshCore 101

MeshCore 101 - hands-on mesh network workshop: Thursday 3 December 2026, 18:00–21:00, Kildevæld Kulturcenter, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

A hands-on workshop for adults and young people aged 15+ introducing MeshCore and LoRa - technologies that enable small devices to communicate with each other without mobile networks. The workshop is open to anyone interested in DIY electronics, IoT, or communication technology, and no prior experience with MeshCore, LoRa, or microcontrollers is required.

You will learn about mesh networks and MeshCore as a communication protocol for decentralized, long-range communication - applicable to everything from IoT projects and sensor monitoring to communication in areas without conventional network coverage.

After the introduction, you will set up a MeshCore companion node yourself, and then test the technology in practice by sending messages between devices placed in different locations inside and around the building.

The workshop is conducted primarily in English, but Danish is also spoken.
