Kugleflint, Troll Trees and Tailless Animals - Nature Scavenger Hunt at Odden near Strøby Egede

Join your family on a nature scavenger hunt at Odden near Strøby Egede, where coast, scrubland and ancient meadow meet - a place where plants and small animals still thrive, species that have become rare in cultivated landscapes.

Each family receives a nature bingo card at the start, and the hunt begins: look under stones, examine flowers and old trees, search for animals among the grass and watch for strange shapes, colours and tracks. Who finds a complete row first? Can anyone get a full card?

Along the way we help each other identify what we find. Why have some trees become so twisted? Who lives at the shoreline? What exactly is an ancient meadow - and what on earth is a flint ball?

The tour is for curious children and their adults. No prior knowledge required. The event is arranged in collaboration with Stevns Municipality's nature guide as part of the Time for Nature guide training programme.
