About the venue: Alice

ALICE is a regional music venue in Nørrebro, formed in 2018 from the merger of the former venues Global and Jazzhouse. Named after American jazz pianist and composer Alice Coltrane, it focuses on music that rarely finds space on Danish stages - from global roots, folk and jazz/improv to sound art, new composed music, metal and electronic experiments. The venue also stages concerts at external locations such as Marmorkirken and Glyptoteket.

About: Morten McCoy

Morten McCoy plays piano and keyboards in Bremer/McCoy, the duo he has run with bassist Jonathan Bremer since 2012. Blending tape-delay textures with a sound that moves between jazz, dub and ambient, the two former schoolmates have built a devoted following well beyond Denmark.
