Crime Writers Summit!

Horsens Library and Krimimessen present an evening in Vestsalen, arranged in collaboration with Lindhardt and Ringhof. Four authors and experts discuss their latest releases.

Anne Mette Hancock presents "Efterspillet" (The Aftermath), the fourth book about Heloise Kaldan and Erik Schäfer. A body has been found in the garden behind the Catholic Church - positioned exactly as in the country's largest podcast case. Copycat or deliberate cover story? Anna Grue presents "Skyggen af et bedrag" (Shadow of a Deception), where pensioner Anne-Maj Mortensen investigates the murder of a young homeless man - with a new partner, grandchild, and her bloodhound Mortensen by her side.

Florence McLean (psychologist and profiler) and Bent Isager-Nielsen (former murder chief and head of the Mobile Investigation Unit) discuss "Motiv til mord" (Motive for Murder), which examines spectacular criminal cases through seven classic motives: jealousy, desire, power, profit, revenge, rejection, and fanaticism. They discuss, among other things, whether people can be born evil and what the crime scene reveals about the perpetrator.
