Anne Mette Hancock (born 1979) is a Danish crime writer and trained journalist, raised in Gråsten and now based in Copenhagen. Her 2017 debut The Corpse Flower launched the Heloise Kaldan and Erik Schäfer series, which has been published in 20 countries and sold for screen adaptation. She has twice been named Author of the Year in Denmark and won the Danish Crime Academy's debut prize.
Efterspillet, the fourth book in the Kaldan and Schäfer series, was released on March 17, 2026 by Lindhardt and Ringhof.
