Requiem for Russia - Lecture by Leif Davidsen

This lecture is based on Leif Davidsen's novel 'Requiem for Russia', which follows Tor Alexandr Arnborg, a Danish-Russian special forces soldier forced back into service to repay an old debt of honour. The story brings him to Denmark, where he must choose between his father's homeland and Russia, with his life at stake. Tor has previously worked for the Russian troll army and is torn between his love for Mother Russia and growing distrust of the regime after the president launched his 'special military operation' in Ukraine.

The lecture goes beyond the novel itself - it delves deep into Russia and Ukraine, drawing on Davidsen's personal experiences from countless trips to Russia over the past 30 years.

The event takes place in the Lecture Hall at Horsens Library in MIDTEN and is organized in collaboration with the evening schools in Horsens Municipality.
