Play, Learn and Read
Vigerslev Bibliotek, Copenhagen
Vigerslev Library hosts an open play group focused on children's health, wellbeing and language development through books. Each week features a short talk on a specific topic - sleep, food, motor skills, reading or similar - and throughout the session children and parents can use motor play equipment and children's books in the room, as well as talk with other parents and ask questions to the librarian or the OFS team.
OFS (Outreach Parent Collaboration) is a team of health visitors and educators working with families with home-based children aged 1-5 years. The team supports the transition to childcare, collaboration with childcare facilities and the home learning environment.
Vigerslev Library is located in Folehaven and is part of Copenhagen Libraries. The library has a children's section with space for reading and quiet play, and you are welcome to bring a packed lunch.
No registration required - just drop in. Room: Salen. Contact: Tanja Monk Winthereik (library manager) or network coordinator at ej51@kk.dk.
