Zine Workshop · ZIR kunst- og kreafællesskabet, Copenhagen
Description was written before the event

A zine is a small, self-published publication with no rules for format, genre, or appearance - it can be about anything and made from almost anything. Zines have roots in underground culture and offer a way to share ideas, art, opinions, and stories outside traditional publishing and established channels. You don't need a gallery or large production setup: a piece of paper, scissors, and glue are enough to get started.

During the workshop, we work with paper, scissors, glue, drawing, text, collage, and color. There are no right answers, and you don't need to know how to write, draw, or design beforehand. If you have personal photos, fabric, or other materials you'd like to use, bring them along - otherwise, we have everything you need.

The workshop runs from 17:30 to 21:00. There are snacks and a cheap bar. Price: 150 kr.

The instructor is Vera Sianna, an independent artist and visual designer specializing in analog illustration and animation. She studied visual communication at the Royal Danish Academy and has worked independently since 2015. Together with Josephine Soline, she founded Zir - Amager's art and creative community.
