Theater Magic: The Happy Lion

Theater Magic: The Happy Lion for kids: Friday 16 October 2026, 10:00–11:00, Kulturstationen Vanløse, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 30 kr.

A puppet theatre performance for children aged 2-5, based on Louise Fatio's classic children's book. The story follows a lion who leaves his enclosure at the zoo to explore the city - but although he is happy and curious, people become frightened when they see him. The performance explores themes of friendship, courage, and curiosity.

After the show, children can create a colorful animal mask in a creative workshop - inspired by the lion and other animals, or as their own imaginary creature.

The performance takes place in the Stairway theatre hall. Thanks to Vanløse Lokaludvalg for financial support.
