About: Asger Thomsen

Copenhagen bassist and composer Asger Thomsen is the figure behind RHIZOM, an eight-piece ensemble that shifts between cyclical patterns, noisy outbursts and sudden silence. He moves as comfortably through rock and free improvisation as through experimental jazz.
