In June 2025, Thomsen performed a series of concerts in Mexico City in duo and trio formations with, among others, saxophonist Michaela Turcerová.
At the beginning of 2025, he performed regularly in Copenhagen, including solo on double bass and in the quartet with Cardinaux, Løvdal, Egetoft and Besiakov.
