American trumpeter Noah Halpern won the 2023 ITG Carmine Caruso International Jazz Trumpet Competition and has performed with Wynton Marsalis and Jason Moran since his studies at The Juilliard School in New York. Danish pianist Rasmus Sørensen released the acclaimed albums Balancing Act and At The Right Time and received the Ben Webster Prize in 2025. Swedish bassist Jon Henrikson was born in Gothenburg, is based in Stockholm, and holds a regular place on the Swedish jazz scene. Spanish drummer Andreu Pitarch Mach has roots in Barcelona and studied at Manhattan School of Music, known for his attentive and detailed playing.

The quintet's music is framed by Andreas Toftemark's original compositions - contemporary and melodic, with room for both tightly composed material and improvisation.
