GIG After Hours - guided tour: Tuesday 27 October 2026, 17:00–18:00, Gang i Gaden, Copenhagen. Admission is free.
Gang i Gaden on Istedgade is a daily meeting place for some of Copenhagen's most vulnerable people - a space where they can find peace, get food, and be part of a community. On October 27 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the venue opens its doors after closing for a guided tour.
Daily manager Hannah Emile Jerome Ince and counseling manager Eva Tetzlaff show visitors around and talk about relationship-based work, how users' voices are brought into public debate, and the activities the venue facilitates - including trips to Grantoftegård, holiday stays at Lyngborgen, and a reading club. Along the way, you can get answers to how a typical day at a meeting place works in practice: who can come in from the street, how are urgent needs handled, and are there improvements in users' living conditions?
Meeting point is outside Gang i Gaden, Istedgade 114.
