Asnæs Peninsula, 10 km nature walk

Meeting point: Havnemarken Strand og Parkering, Asnæs Skovvej, 4400 Kalundborg. Meeting time: 9:25 - the walk starts at 9:30.

The approximately 10 km route leads around the tip of the Asnæs Peninsula along small nature trails, some beach and field edges past the small lighthouse and further up along the northern side. About halfway through the walk, the terrain changes to beech forest, and the final section winds along Kalundborg Fjord with views of Røsnæs. The ground is primarily earth and stone. Difficulty is rated as moderate, pace approximately 5 km/h, and total walking time is approximately 3 hours including short breaks and a coffee break.

Bring your own coffee/tea, cold drinks and snacks for the entire walk - there are no toilets along the route.
