Biblioteksklubben (Library Club) organizes a bus trip to Aarhus - the club's first visit to the city in several years. The day includes Aros art museum, Den Gamle By open-air museum, and Dokk1, Aarhus's cultural centre and main library.

At Aros, one of Northern Europe's largest art museums with 20,700 square metres across 10 floors, the day begins with a guided tour called "Curator's Favourite Works". Afterwards, there is free time to explore the museum and have lunch. Olafur Eliasson's 150-metre-long installation "Your Rainbow Panorama", positioned 6 metres above the museum's roof, is worth seeing.

The tour then moves to Den Gamle By, which won the "European Museum of the Year Award" from the European Museum Forum in June - an award for museums that engage their audiences in innovative ways. There is free time to walk the streets and visit the houses and shops; a coffee and cake at the Bakery in Algade is recommended.

The final stop is Dokk1, Scandinavia's largest public library, where a guided tour explains the building's architecture, facilities, and possibilities. After the tour, there is about half an hour of free time before everyone meets at the bus for the return journey.
