Theater Magic: Frederik (ages 3-6)

Theater Magic: Frederik - musical for children: Tuesday 13 October 2026, 15:30–16:10, Krudttønden, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 40 kr.

"Frederik" is a musical puppet show featuring puppeteer Astrid Kjær, based on Leo Lionni's children's book of the same name. The story follows the mouse Frederik, who doesn't help the other mice gather supplies for winter - instead, he sits dreaming and gazing out over the fields.

When winter is at its harshest and the supplies are eaten up, Frederik steps forward and shares what he has collected: stories about colors, sun, and scents that carry the other mice through the cold. Through puppets, music, and shadow play, the performance unfolds a story about how we don't all contribute in the same way - but our differences together make us stronger.

The performance is for children aged 3-6 years.
