A Year in the Sun

A Year in the Sun - theatre drama: 20 January – 31 January 2027, Posthusteatret, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 120–170 kr.

A Year in the Sun is written by author and playwright Marthe Bleu, directed by Sophia Krowicki and performed by Babette McPhillips and Carl Emil Koefoed.

Asger has died. Afterwards, she seeks out his father - she wants to understand where their friendship disappeared to, and why it ended. She wants to write a novel about their relationship, but must navigate alone in the darkness and in the shadow of God. The production circles around loss, memory and grief - about those who leave, and those who remain. About dreams and unfulfilled ambitions, about conversations that once took place and were later forgotten, about ghosts and friendship.

The production runs at Posthusteatret in January. Doors open approximately one hour before the performance begins.
