PØLSE! (ages 3-7) / Teatermagi Brønshøj-Husum

PØLSE! - theatre for ages 3-7: Saturday 17 October 2026, 11:15–11:45, Rytterskolen, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 40 kr.

PØLSE! is a theatre performance for children aged 3-7 and their adults about play, friendship, and two very different personalities who find each other. A cleaning assistant sweeps the floor with great precision - until a soft dog named Pølse suddenly jumps out of the cleaning cart. The cleaning assistant thinks dogs are messy, and Pølse must go. But Pølse just wants to play, and slowly an unexpected friendship grows.

The performance uses songs, puppet theatre, and physical comedy to centre play's ability to create community.

Cast and crew: Signe Kærup Dahl (stage, direction, composer, playwright), Søren Dahl Jeppesen (studio musician and composer), Jørgen Carlslund (consultant, direction), Filippa Berglund (consultant, set design), Katrine Karlsen (puppet maker). The puppet dog was created by Signe Kærup Dahl. Produced by AKKoRD.

The performance is part of the Teatermagi festival during the autumn half-term (week 42), which takes place at cultural centres, libraries, and theatres around Copenhagen - including Østerbro, Vesterbro, Amager, Nørrebro, Vanløse, Valby, Indre By, Brønshøj-Husum, Sydhavnen, and Bispebjerg. The festival is supported by Augustinus Fonden and Copenhagen's Stage Arts Committee.
