Hand-Sewn Wall Hangings

Learn freehand embroidery and appliqué techniques without a sewing machine on this three-part course. You'll master both fundamental stitching and advanced techniques, plus various appliqué methods to create variation in your work and finish with a complete wall hanging.

Start with any inspiration: a travel memory, a painting you want to interpret, or your own idea. All materials are included, though you're welcome to bring your own woven fabric, embroidery thread, or tools if you prefer.

The course runs over three Thursdays: October 1st, 8th, and 22nd from 5-8 pm. Price is 900 kr., and registration is via billetto.dk. All adults are welcome, regardless of experience.

Instructor Kristina Madsen is a trained textile educator and social pedagogue. The course takes place in the Workshop on the 3rd floor.
