Rahbek's salon on Wednesday, December 9, 6-8:30 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.) centers on Homer's Iliad. This autumn's salons at Vartov explore the interplay between culture and nature through a series of European masterworks. This evening features cand.mag. in history Sander Funch, known from the Glyptotek's podcast "The Human in Marble," presenting Homer's second major work.

There will be one or more speakers, plus coffee, tea, and water before and during the salon, and a glass of wine for the closing mingling. As always, folk poetry and group singing from the folk high school songbook are included. The December salon also features a selection of Christmas songs from the songbook, a Christmas story, and Christmas treats.

After the salon, the youth forum AGORA holds a meeting for participants under 30 years old.
