The Architect and the Journalist: Architecture for Beginners
Architecture is not reserved for architects - it is something we all encounter daily: in the way we move through a room, in the light from a window, in materials that feel good to touch, and in buildings that either lift us up or drain us.
Architect MAA and partner Gitte Frederiksen Kjølby and journalist Kirstine Møgelbjerg Østrup offer an accessible and humorous introduction to the fundamentals of architecture. Together they explore how space, proportions, movement and the senses work together, and why it matters that more people understand the language behind the places where we live, work and spend our lives. The goal is not to turn the audience into architects, but to give everyone a shared foundation for discussing quality in our surroundings.
The lecture takes place in Dokk1, the ramp.
