Lecture on Energy Communities

This is the 15th in a series of public debate evenings organized by FVEA / Foreningen VindEnergi Aarhus, aimed at engaging citizens about wind energy and green transition in Aarhus Municipality through community-owned wind turbine cooperatives.

The evening's programme has three parts. Carl Jakobsen from Bedsteforældrenes Klimaaktion (BKA) will speak about opportunities in energy communities and the challenges BKA sees in the Climate Plan 2025-2035. Peter Esmann and Anders J. Jensen from FVEA Aarhus will then present the municipality's new Climate Plan, Energy Plan, and renewable energy targets, as well as updates on wind turbine expansion in the area, including turbine sizes planned for 2026-2028. After each presentation there will be questions from the audience, and the evening concludes with a joint debate.
