Saturday at the Loft: Story and Live Drawing about Pølse: Saturday 28 November 2026, 11:00–12:00, Hovedbiblioteket, Copenhagen. Admission is free.
Pølse refuses to go to kindergarten, take a bath, eat dinner - and absolutely won't have her father being embarrassing. The Pølse books tell about everyday situations that families recognize and can be read from age 3.
On Saturday, November 28, from 11 to 12, the Main Library presents a 30-minute performance where author Oliver Zahle tells the story of Pølse and her father while illustrator Siri Melchior draws live on stage. Oliver Zahle has created children's radio for DR and written picture books, while Siri Melchior is the illustrator behind the Pølse series and is also known for the stories about Rita and the crocodile as well as the series about 'Lili', 'Berta' and 'Fuzzy'.
After the performance, children and adults can meet Oliver and Siri and draw and color at the library's creative stations.
The event is free but requires a ticket - reserve your place on billetto.dk. Aimed at children from age 3 and their adults. Location: Krystalgade 15, 1172 Copenhagen K, 4th floor.
