On Wednesday, November 11, 6-8:30 p.m. (doors open 5:30 p.m.), Rahbek's Salon at Vartov focuses on Joris-Karl Huysmans' "Against the Grain". The event is part of the autumn salon series exploring the interplay between culture and nature through a selection of European masterworks.

Cand.mag. in modern art and cultural communication Freddy Hagen, known for his art and literature reviews, presents Huysmans' work. As usual, there will be one or more speakers, and Rahbek's pianists accompany folk singing.

Coffee, tea, and water are served before and during the salon, plus a glass of wine for the subsequent mingling. In the autumn term, after each salon there is a meeting in the youth forum AGORA for participants under 30.
