Guided Shared Reading: Literary Emergency Preparedness Plan - Conflict

Guided shared reading on conflict: Wednesday 4 November 2026, 09:30–11:30, Biblioteket i Herning, Herning. Admission is free.

Biblioteket i Herning hosts a series of guided shared readings across four meetings, where literary texts form the basis for conversations about emergency preparedness. The series runs from week 41 to 45 and is part of the thematic collaboration "Together on Preparedness" with DR, Østifterne, Danske folkeoplysnings samråd, and Bibliotekerne.

The four meetings each have their own theme:
1. Love - 21 October
2. Body - 28 October
3. Conflict - 4 November
4. Climate - 11 November

Participation is free. Registration covers all four meetings - book one ticket for all sessions.

The collaboration frames preparedness in a broader perspective: not just the practical, but also the social, mental and cultural - how we understand crises, talk about them and help each other when everyday life is challenged.
