Christmas Concert with Kvindekoret Crescendo: Tuesday 1 December 2026, 17:00–17:30, Horsens Bibliotek i MIDTEN, Horsens. Admission is free.

Kvindekoret Crescendo comes to Horsens Bibliotek i MIDTEN to perform a Christmas concert in the Atrium. The choir, which has existed since 1981, consists of 15 women from Horsens and the surrounding area and is led by conductor Mads Risum.

The programme features classic Christmas songs - both Danish and international. This visit has a special dimension: the choir sang an annual Christmas concert in the town hall council chamber in Horsens for many years, in the same buildings where MIDTEN is located today.

The concert is free and takes place in the Atrium - no registration required, just show up.

About the venue: Horsens Bibliotek i MIDTEN

Horsens Bibliotek i MIDTEN is the city's new civic hub, opening on 30 November 2026 in the former town hall on Rådhustorvet. Alongside the library, the building brings together the citizen services centre, the Sund By health unit and the Centre for Communication and Technology - the municipality occupies roughly half of the building's approximately 15,000 square metres. The name MIDTEN reflects the ambition to create an open, communal gathering place at the centre of Horsens.
