Horsens Bibliotek i MIDTEN is the city's new civic hub, opening on 30 November 2026 in the former town hall on Rådhustorvet. Alongside the library, the building brings together the citizen services centre, the Sund By health unit and the Centre for Communication and Technology - the municipality occupies roughly half of the building's approximately 15,000 square metres. The name MIDTEN reflects the ambition to create an open, communal gathering place at the centre of Horsens.
