Knitting Workshop with VesterbyCrea: Saturday 14 November 2026, 13:00–16:00, Brande Bibliotek, Brande. Tickets cost 150 kr.

This workshop focuses on Fair Isle knitting based on the pattern FairIsle.Beanie.No.01. You'll get an introduction to Fair Isle patterns and work on creating your own color diagram.

The programme consists of three parts: an introduction to Fair Isle patterns, sketching your own color diagram based on the pattern, and knitting your swatch - or you can go straight to knitting the beanie.

Bring circular needles or double-pointed needles in 2.5 and 3.0 mm, as well as stitch markers. On the day you'll receive an A2 sheet for coloring the pattern and a guide to the work.

About the venue: Brande Bibliotek

Brande Bibliotek is housed in Artium, a three-storey multi-use building from 2018 in Brande's Centerpark, designed by GPP Arkitekter. The old public library and the school library (PLC) were merged into a single shared library here. Visitors can borrow books, audiobooks, e-books, films, music and games, and the library runs lectures, reading clubs and musical playgroups for young children. A repair café with volunteer fixers is also on offer.
