About: Sheku Kanneh-Mason

Raised in a musical family in Nottingham, Sheku Kanneh-Mason picked up the cello at six and won BBC Young Musician of the Year at 17 - a victory that opened the doors of the world's great concert halls. His 2018 royal wedding performance and the album Elgar, the first cello solo record ever to crack the UK Top 10, confirmed his place at the front rank of classical music.
