Anastasia Krasnoshchoka - dance on art and censorship: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 18:30–19:30, Nørrebro Library, Copenhagen. Admission is free.
On 28 October at 18:30, Nørrebro Library presents an evening where performance and conversation meet around censorship, freedom of expression, and art's role in a democratic society.
18.30-19.00: Something That Never Was
The evening opens with Ukrainian choreographer and dancer Anastasia Krasnoshchoka's solo dance work Something That Never Was. The work draws on poetry and music from a generation of Ukrainian artists - The Executed Renaissance - who were censored and persecuted in the 1930s.
19.00-19.30: Conversation and Q&A
Following the performance, Anastasia meets human rights activist Mikkel Ivers for a conversation that moves between historical experiences and contemporary questions about oppression and restricted freedom of expression. Note: The conversation takes place in English.
