Prepare Yourself for 3 Days - Sunds

What do you do if the power goes out for several days, or a major crisis hits your local area? This evening focuses on practical knowledge about emergency preparedness and crisis readiness - with room for shared dialogue throughout.

The Emergency Preparedness Association will review what a 3-day emergency kit entails in practice and offer advice on how to prepare your home according to government recommendations. Emergency coordinator Henrik from Herning Municipality will discuss municipal preparedness and the importance of community in crisis situations. The evening's programme concludes with group dialogue and a joint wrap-up.

You will leave with practical advice for your household, insight into municipal preparedness in Herning Municipality, and the checklist "My Checklist", which helps you tailor your home emergency kit to your situation.

The event is part of the thematic collaboration "Together on Preparedness" - a partnership between DR, Østifterne, Dansk Folkeoplysnings Samråd, and libraries. Admission is free but requires a ticket. Coffee and cake will be served.
