Biblioteket i Sunds is a local branch of Herning Bibliotekerne, situated in the centre of town right on the main street. Outside staffed hours the library is open for self-service access, and it offers free Wi-Fi along with printing, copying and scanning. Regular fixtures include a monthly Torsdagstræf community gathering and a weekly Monday social club, and the space can be borrowed free of charge for children's birthday parties.
