Prinsens Musikkorps Anniversary Concert — Kulturcenter Skive, Gårdhaven, Skive

Prinsens Musikkorps performs a jubilee concert at Gårdhaven, the outdoor stage of KulturCenter Skive, on Saturday 26 September 2026 at 4 p.m. The concert marks Skive's 700th anniversary as a market town and is one of two Danish dates for the ensemble. Local soloists Preben Kristensen and Lena Kildahl Larsen perform alongside the Children's Choir from Skive Music School. Gårdhaven features a wine bar and street food under open sky; in case of severe weather, the event moves indoors. Admission is 100 kr.

About the venue: Kulturcenter Skive, Gårdhaven

Gårdhaven is the outdoor courtyard stage at KulturCenter Skive, used in summer for concerts spanning pop, rock and tribute acts. A wine bar and street food stalls set up on the night, and a weather guarantee means the show moves inside if conditions turn extreme. The wider KulturCenter on Skyttevej also houses a cinema, water park, gym and conference facilities.

About: Prinsens Musikkorps

One of the Danish Armed Forces' three full-time professional music corps, founded in 1766 and now based at Skive Kaserne under the Air Force. The 16-piece brass ensemble spans military marches, classical repertoire and popular music, appearing at royal ceremonies and open public concerts throughout Denmark.
