The evening's conductor is Swedish trombonist and conductor Christian Lindberg, who has collaborated closely with Hendricks over the years and performed with her in many places around the world.

The programme features music by Mozart, Bizet, Manuel de Falla, and Tchaikovsky. It opens with Mozart's overture to The Magic Flute and selected arias with Hendricks as soloist, followed by Shostakovich's Festive Overture and Tchaikovsky's suite from The Queen of Spades with Lindberg as soloist. After the interval comes Gershwin's An American in Paris, de Falla's Siete canciones populares españolas with Hendricks as soloist, Andrea Tarodi's Still I Rise for soprano and trombone with Hendricks and Lindberg as soloists, and finally Bizet's suite from Carmen.

Prinsens Musikkorps is a brass orchestra with percussion, known for its broad musical range and ability to move between genres. The ensemble performs at official events for the Royal Household and the Armed Forces as well as at its own concerts for a wider audience.
