Nordby Citywalk - Stadtrundgang
Nordby færgehavn, Fanø · 150 kr. · ≈ 20 €
Nordby Citywalk - maritime history: 13 October – 15 October 2026, Nordby færgehavn, Fanø. Tickets cost 150 kr.
Nordby holds a rich maritime history behind its winding streets and old houses. In the 19th century, Nordby and Sønderho were home to a large part of Denmark's merchant fleet - Fanø's shipping companies sailed to all corners of the world, and that prosperity left its mark in the many beautiful houses that still characterize the town today.
On the city walk, we go around the harbor, the small streets and the shopping street, and the guides share stories about the town and its people - plus a few tall tales. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and is led by either Ragnhild Kallehauge, who for many years was the face of Fanø Tourist Bureau, or Poul Therkelsen, who was tourism director on Fanø for 14 years.
Meeting point: The sculpture column "the 2 dogs" at the ferry dock, Langelinie.
