Description was written before the event

The event consists of three separate conversations where people share experiences from their own lives. There are no experts speaking on behalf of others - instead, we listen to those who know firsthand what it feels like.

3:00-4:45 PM: You and Me: Dating, Love and Relationships
What is it like to date and find love when mental vulnerability, a diagnosis, or other life circumstances are also part of your life? What do you write in your dating profile, when do you tell someone about it, and how does it affect a relationship? Meet speakers for an honest conversation about exactly that.

4:00-4:45 PM: You and Me: Close Relationships
Family, friends and partners can mean everything - and at the same time be difficult. What happens to close relationships when mental vulnerability takes up space? The conversation circles around feelings and dilemmas, power, powerlessness and boundaries, based on the speakers' own experiences.

5:00-5:45 PM: You and Me: Communities
The workplace, university, the football club - the places where we meet shape both everyday life and identity. But what is it like to be part of a community when you live with mental vulnerability or a diagnosis? When do you tell your boss or colleagues, and what do you actually answer when asked "What do you do for a living?", when the answer doesn't feel simple?

All three conversations are moderated and based on participants' own experiences. You can listen, ask questions or participate actively - and you are welcome to attend one conversation or all three. Location: Folkestuen.
