Tordenskjold's Birthday

Tordenskjold's Birthday celebration: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 16:30–20:30, Hovedbiblioteket i Aalborg, Aalborg. Admission is free.

An evening celebrating the completion of both the CD and manuscript for the musical Maria and Helten, coinciding with Tordenskjold's birthday. The programme takes place on three different stages in Folkestuen.

The evening features stories about Denmark, Norway and Tordenskjold, Native American songs, tales from Maria's life, and insights into the historical sources behind the research. At 18:00 there is a free Sea Heroes buffet. There is also a chance to win the group's new CD.

Odder von Clodder poses the question: "Is history not worthy of a film? A true story of genuine courage - also in love?"

After the programme, there is approximately one hour of communal singing with the group's own songs and numbers from the Lennon-Larsen tradition. The event is presented by Odder von Clodder with Tordenskjold and De Modige Fugle.
