This House (INT) + support: Emil Palme
This House live with Emil Palme: Thursday 26 November 2026, 20:00, Copenhagen.
This House is a project built around the collaboration between G.W. Sok - co-founder and vocalist of Dutch post-punk band The Ex - and Copenhagen-based producer and musician Ignacio Córdoba. The full band also features drummer Søren Høi and synthesizer player Laust Moltesen. Their 2024 album 'Is This A House' was followed on March 20, 2026 by the debut full-length 'Soft Rains Will Come', which develops the group's meeting point between literary storytelling, experimental rock and electronic textures.
The music sets Sok's poetic texts against Córdoba's electronic production, moving across rock, electronics and free improvisation. Høi's drumming, Moltesen's improvisational synthesizer work and Córdoba's background in noise, jazz and electronic music combine with Sok's narrative delivery to produce something that pulls equally from post-punk directness and the unpredictability of free improvisation.
Support comes from Danish guitarist and composer Emil Palme, known for drawing stones across electric guitar strings like bows to produce ceremonial and dystopian sounds that sit between composition and improvisation. His 2025 solo album 'Death by Angel' is a doom requiem inspired by mythological visions of the journey from life to the afterlife. He has also worked with Portal Pets, Yngel, Baujillaud, Halvcirkel, Aarhus Sinfonietta and Manuel Göttsching.
The concert takes place at BETA on November 26. Standing room only - if advance tickets sell out, door tickets will not be available either. Doors open one hour before the concert. A limited number of accessible tickets, including a companion ticket, are available; a valid companion card must be presented at the venue. More information at www.amagerbio.dk.
