About the venue
BETA - also known as BETA2300 - is an intimate music venue on Amager that opened in 2010 as a companion to the neighbouring Amager Bio. With room for around 150 people, it focuses on emerging national and international underground acts and niche genres such as punk, metal, indie and experimental music. Bar staff are volunteers driven by a love of music, and the programme favours artists on the verge of breaking through - or those who simply prefer a small room.
