🍇 MEET THE GRAPE: CAHORS 🇫🇷 vs MALBEC 🇦🇷

One grape, two countries, four wines - and a bit of friendly rivalry. Malbec is known today as Argentina's most famous grape, but the story starts elsewhere: in the vineyards around Cahors in France, where the grape has been part of the local wine culture for centuries. This evening we pit the two against each other.

From Cahors we taste a rosé and a red, and from Argentina likewise a rosé and a red. The wines are tasted side by side, so we can follow how the same grape changes character with climate, altitude, soil, tradition and winemaking - with juicy fruit, freshness, structure and a few surprises along the way. Matching tapas are served with the wine.
