Between Dream and Reality

Hanne Loop - abstract painting exhibition: 1 October – 31 October 2026, Støberihallerne - Præstø Bibliotek og Borgerservice, Præstø.

Hanne Loop presents her solo exhibition at Støberihallerne throughout October.

She paints intuitively, without plans, maps, or compass. For her, painting is a meditative process where forms, beings, and entire universes emerge along the way - almost like an unpredictable development in a darkroom.

The exhibition spans a wide range: from the "Metamorphosis Series", created using wash-off techniques, and the "Latex Series", where liquid latex is layered between acrylic, to more expressive action painting. There is no single answer - each painting has its own story and can be interpreted differently.

Hanne Loop has painted intensively since summer 2022 and during this period has had works included in 6 curated exhibitions, including Vadehavets Curated, Æglageret, and Roskilde Open.
